Department Family: Internal & Systemic Medicine
Chronic obstructive disease, fibrotic lung disease, and pulmonary vascular disease, with conventional assessment and management alongside investigational work.
The lung has a property few organs share: it is directly accessible by inhalation. Non-viral constructs can be delivered to the airway and alveolar surface topically, achieving local exposure with limited systemic distribution — which is why small, shear-resistant formats capable of surviving nebulisation are particularly relevant here, and why this is one of the few indications where repeat local dosing is practical.
